Story:
In Japan, there is an expression to signify the importance of treating each moment and every encounter as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.「一期一会 」“One life. One encounter.”
Why do people struggle in futility when their deaths are certain? Is there any truth to the idea of fate, or is nothing assured? Would the knowledge of your own death give you a chance to change that which has been predestined, or could it ultimately expedite your demise?
On a beautiful summer day at a park in Misawa, Japan, an American man and his Japanese wife encounter an old fortune teller and take a chance at having their fortunes read. The mysterious clairvoyant reveals their destiny through the power of her tarot reading. The couple is disturbed to hear that their supposed fate is not what they expected. Death by water.
After the death of his wife, the man returns to see the old woman as he struggles for understanding and to defy his fate. Why was he left alive? What is the truth behind the old woman’s power? Can he change his fate, or is he doomed to follow his wife into death.

Story:
Codename "Tanuki" is the world's greatest assassin, but the only thing he loves more than taking out a target and completing his mission is culinary decadence.
Not a second before he can alleviate his hunger pains with a delicious, homemade, Italian linguine pasta alla marinara (just like grandma used to make), he receives a message from his handler that his most allusive target, his greatest failure, has been spotted and is on the move.
Now, with a bruised ego and an empty stomach, "Tanuki" heads to the restaurant where his target, codename "Kitsune," has been spotted.
He will find them. He will kill them. He will reheat his uneaten food in the microwave when he returns home.
